The body of an elderly woman was found at village Sundulpur under Daudkandi upazila in Comilla Saturday morning. She was Tohirunnessa Begum, 70, wife of Dilu Miahzi.
Daudkandi thana OC Abdul Salam Miah said they went to the house of Dilu Miah at around 8:30am and found her body lying on the floor of her bed room. Police sent the body to Comilla Medical College Hospital morgue.
They arrested seven suspected youths, Rana Miahzi,22, Sagar Miahzi,22, Md Rabiul,11, Saddam Miahzi,18, Liton Miahzi,23, Sanney Miahzi,16, Ibrahim Miahzi,25. A case was filed.
