Bangladesh’s FM Fahad Rahman moved up to fourth place in the Open Under-10 category at the World Youth Chess Championships in Al-Ain, UAE on Tuesday.
Fahad won against Iran’s Mahan Saberi to move up to the top four after round seven on Tuesday. He now has six points after seven games. Fahad played against Kazakhstani player Abdalev Arlene in the eighth round yesterday.
Fahad is accompanied by his father Md. Nazrul Islam and is being sponsored by Computer Source, according to a Bangladesh Chess Federation press release.
