Ferdous Wahid to launch radio
Noted singer Ferdous Wahid will celebrate the New Year by launching an online radio station and a music academy
after his name on the first day of 2014.
The online Radio Wahid will play only Bangla songs of all genres. Besides, he is going to open a music school, Wahid Academy, which will offer chance learning music to the children from all strata of life.
The test transmission of Radio Wahid is going on. It will be officially launched tomorrow. Enthusiasts can listen to Radio Wahid in www.radiowahid.com.
‘The audience will not only be able to listen to music but will also be able to leave their comments about the songs online,’ said Ferdous Wahid adding that he had long cherished desire to launch a online radio station.
‘We have plans to transform the online radio into a complete FM radio next year’, he added.
About Wahid Academy, the singer said that the school will work in teaching music to the potential children. ‘The potential underprivileged children will get free lesson at the academy,’ said Wahid.
The singer also informed that his son, also a noted musician Habib Wahid, along with some other renowned musicians is engaged with the projects as well.
