Abdullah Al Mamun’s last TV serial to air on ATN Bangla
Veteran actress Ferdousi Majumdar will be seen as lead actress in Abdullah Al Mamun’s unfinished serial “Tahader Joubonkal” that
he penned before his death.
Abdullah Al Mamun, in his illustrious career as an actor, director and playwright, wrote and directed several stage and TV plays.
Ferdousi Majumdar had earlier acted in many drama serials directed by Abdullah Al Mamun.
Sazzad Hossain Bablu, a long-time associate of the late playwright, will helm the serial. Part of shooting of the first few episodes has already been finished at different locations in Pubail.
About her new TV serial, Ferdousi Majumdar said, “I am working in it because it is written by Mamun bhai. I have worked in many plays and TV serials under his direction, and I strongly emote with his works. It feels great to be a part of this serial.”
The drama serial has a heavyweight cast including Ramendu Majumdar, SM Mohsin, Dolly Zohur, Pijush Bandyopadhyay, Diba Nargis and Sabbir Ahmed among
others.
The drama serial will soon start airing on ATN Bangla.
