Registration for the 35th film appreciation course is now open for those who are interested in filmmaking.
The two-month course titled Film Appreciation Course, which has been organised by Bangladesh Film Institute, will begin on May 22. Noted filmmaker Tanvir Mokammel will conduct the course.
The course will teach students about history of film, screenplay writing, cinematography, editing, film language, art direction, documentary making, use of digital camera, sound designing, background music, acting, use of props, shot division, film producing, and others aspects of filmmaking.
The course will be followed by a written examination and those who will qualify will be provided with certificates. Besides, the course will also require students to make their own short films in digital format.
The classes will take place from 6:00 to 8:00pm on weekdays. The course has a fee of 8000 taka.
