Five matches of the Amber Victory Day Twenty20 Cup will be telecast live by state-run Bangladesh Television, said a Bangladesh Cricket Board press release on Tuesday.
Earlier, rumours were doing the rounds that Gazi Television was supposed to show the matches live but for some reasons unknown there was no live broadcasting during the Sylhet leg of the tournament. BTV will now broadcast only the matches in Dhaka.
The five matches, including the final on December 31, will all take place at the Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium from December 28, starting with the tie between archrivals Abahani Limited and Mohammedan Sporting Club at 1:00pm on Tuesday.
It was also announced that tickets to the five matches at Mirpur will go on sale from today.
Prices of tickets were fixed at Tk 50 (Eastern Stand), Tk 70 (Northern/Southern Stand), Tk 100 (Shaheed Mushtaque/Shaheed Jewel Stand) and Tk 300 (VIP/Grandstand).
Tickets can be bought from the media ticket counter near the northern entry gate (plaza entry) at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium. Counters will remain open from 11:00am to 5:00 pm every day.
