Flydubai, Dubai’s first low cost airline, will begin its flights from Dubai to Chittagong on January 17.
Flight FZ587 departs from Dubai at 1340hrs, landing in Chittagong at 2020hrs local time and the return flight FZ588 takes off from Chittagong at 2120hrs, arriving back in Dubai at 0125hrs local time, said a news release.
Flydubai will operate flights on the route daily from March 27.
Ghaith Al Ghaith, chief executive officer of Flydubai, said, ‘Adding a new dimension to the Flydubai network, flights to Chittagong will not only cater to the Bangladeshi workforce in the UAE, but also be instrumental in increasing trade and business between the two nations.’
One-way fares to Chittagong from Dubai will cost from $125, including one piece of hand luggage weighing up to 7kg plus one small laptop bag or hand bag. Flight charges from Chittagong to Dubai start from $200.
