Four high-ranking members of the Bangladesh Hockey Federation executive committee were entrusted with the responsibility of convincing six premier division clubs
to soon end their boycott from all hockey activities.
The announcement came on Sunday after the first meeting of the newly-elected BHF body.
‘Four members, including (Abdus) Sadek
and (Abdur) Rashid bhai, have been given the responsibility to convince those six clubs to end
their boycott and the league committee has been asked to take the necessary steps to complete the inter-club players’ transfer,’ said general secretary Khaja Rahmatullah after the meeting.
The six clubs in question, including Mohammedan and Mariner Young’s Club, pulled out of the BHF election last month and declared that they would abstain from all hockey activities.
