GMG Airlines has unveiled its new website at www.gmgairlines.com by bringing a fresh new look and increased functionality for the users.
On the new cutting edge website, the users will find full details of GMG routes and schedules, contact details for its agents worldwide and a host of information about the company, says a press release.
spearheaded by GMG Airlines, country’s commercial aviation sector is undergoing a major change by adopting new technologies, more customer focused communication and adding new aircrafts to maximize customer satisfaction.
Soon after the re-branding of GMG in May this year, the largest and oldest private airlines has embarked on massive modernisation programmes ranging from procuring new aircrafts to redesign of its website with many more new features.
The aim of GMG is very simple and clear; it wants to become the most preferred airline in this region.
The new logo- a colourful bubbling butterfly with spreading wings truly reinforces GMG’s desire to rule the sky with passion for service excellence.
And keeping this in mind, the airline has already started working on various innovative products and services.
Many of those are for the first time by a local airline.
The look and feel is a reflection of GMG’s strives for changes by offering true hospitality to air travellers. The website flashing the new vibrant and colourful ‘butterfly’ logo of the GMG is now easier to visit and get someone introduced with the new GMG that is evolving as the iconic Bangladeshi Airline in the world.
Commenting on the feature and functionalities of the new website, Chief Executive Officer of GMG, Christian Heinzmann said, “The new website will allow users to access more information and will be continually updated with the latest news from GMG.”
The CEO also said the airline is very proud of the new website and added that all the special offers of the airlines will be loaded in the website for ensuring easy access to the travellers. Within a very short period, the website will be integrated with a state of the art booking engine enabling customers from any part of the globe to get a smooth and convenient access to the world class service standards of GMG.
GMG in the very near future will be able to manage electronic tickets via interfaces from a range of devices such as cellular phones, check-in kiosk, online check-in, boarding cards and baggage handling through this DCS system.
GMG Airlines started operations on April 6, 1998. It began with domestic services and launched international flights in September 2004, with flights between Chittagong and Kolkata. Beximco Group, one of the largest industrial conglomerates in Bangladesh, bought the airline last year to make its foray into growing aviation sector. The goal of the company is to become the most ‘preferred airline’ in the region. GMG has recently introduced a wide body Boeing 767-300ER into its fleet to provide better service to its customers and is in the process of modernizing its fleet together with the rest of the processes to spread its wings across the globe.
