Kanye West announces ‘Donda 2’ will only be available on his $200 Stem Player

The rapper has announced that the new music will not be available on traditional streaming services
Donda 2 is coming, but don’t expect to stream it on Spotify or Apple Music. Kanye West revealed that his new album will exclusively be available on his own Stem music streaming device, which costs $200.
“Donda 2 will only be available on my own platform, the Stem Player,” Kanye announced on Instagram. “Not on Apple Amazon Spotify or YouTube. Today artists get just 12% of the money the industry makes. It’s time to free music from this oppressive system. It’s time to take control and build our own. Go to

Ye followed this up with a post saying “You can download new music from stemplayer.com. You can play 4 different elements of the track: vocals, drums, bass and music. It also has a MP3 player available. We currently have 67,000 available and are making 3,000 a day.”
The Stem Player was actually released at the same time as Donda last year, so it’s been available for a while. Meanwhile, Donda 2 is scheduled to drop on Tuesday, February 22, and Kanye just released the track list, which you can check out here:
TBD on if Kanye will eventually release Donda 2 on streaming platforms like Apple and Spotify, but as of now he seems pretty set in keeping the album on Stem so better grab one ASAP if you want to hear Ye’s new music!
