Mobile phone operator Grameenphone on Tuesday launched 3G service for its customers on commercial basis in Barisal. The inauguration programme was held at GP regional office. Barisal city mayor Md Ahsan Habib Kamal was present, said a press release.
The 3G coverage are now available at Kashipur Bus Stand, Boiddyopara, Natullah Badh Bus Stand, Sinha Road Kawnia, Gorosthan Road, Kirod Mukharjee Lane, Nazir Market, Shahapara, Circuit House, Police line, Launch Ghat, Medical College, Stadium, Amtola Bus Stop, Rupatoli Bus Stand and Barisal Cadet College.
