The grand finale of the reality show Bangladeshi Idol is scheduled to be aired on the next Friday.
A special episode of the show featuring the top three contestants will be aired at 8.00pm today on SATV.
The last three finalists Monti, Arif and Mong will perform before guest judges Opi Karim and Bari Siddiqui, in addition to the four regular judges Ferdousi Rahman, Andro Kishore, Ayub Bachchu and Meherin.
Today’s theme is traditional and modern song. The three finalists have already proven their efficiency and passion for music and got popularity among the audience. Mrinmoy Singha Monti, from Moulvibazar, has learnt classical music from Krishnadhan Sinha and also from Monipuri Lalitkala Academy.
Another finalist Arif, from Dhaka, is passionate about music and has formed a music band named Prisoners.
The third finalist Mong Uching, from Bandarban, is a member of Marma music organisation Chimbuk.
All of the finalists are determined to gain the coveted position of Bangladeshi Idol and to secure a permanent career in music.
