Bangladesh Paribesh Andolan on Tuesday expressed their deep concern over tree felling during political violence in capital Dhaka and elsewhere of the country.
In a press statement, they said in the past few months a huge number of trees were cut down in different districts of the country including the capital during political violence.Environmentalists said miscreants cut down many old trees along with the small trees for road blockade and even they plucked many beatifying trees on road dividers.
The green activists urged people to stop such revengeful action on trees to save the environment.
