Popular TV actress Prova has performed in many TV plays in role of legendary actor Hasan Imam’s daughter. While asking them which was their best work together they said Salauddin Lavlu directed play ‘Phera.’
But they are now also satisfied to perform in play ‘Je Karon-e Motinuddin Dhakai Eshechhilo,’ directed by Tuhin Abonto, which script was also
written by Tuhin Abonto.Hasan Imam performed in role of Motinuddin who is a retired schoolteacher came from village, while Prova acted in role his student’s wife, Lisa in the play.
On the occasion of upcoming Victory Day this exceptional story based play will be aired on Banglavision at 9:00pm on December 16.
While sharing his feelings to perform in this play Hasan Imam told this correspondent, “There are some characters where performers relate with those roles and get the opportunity to explore. Motinuddin is like that a character. I hope viewers will enjoy this play.”
Prova shared her feelings by this way, “This play is my acted best play of contemporary time. I am requesting to the viewers to watch this play.”
It may be mentioned that Hasan Imam and Prova firstly performed together in a play under the direction of Ezaz Munna. Hasan Imam and Prova acted drama serial ‘Nurjahan,’ directed by Sumon Anwar, is being aired on Channel i now.
Hasan Imam started his acting career on the stage in 1955. Later he started to perform in the big screen in 1960. He received Best Actor Award in then East and West Pakistan Film Festival to perform in late Khan Ataur Rahman directed movie ‘Onek Din-er Chena’ in 1965. He started to perform in TV play in 1964.
On the other hand, Prova has started to work in Faisal Rajib directed drama serial ‘Jibon Theke Neya’ and Golam Sohrab Dodul directed serial ‘Anandomoy Amodpur’ recently.
