Higher Secondary Certificate examinees of different educational institutions held demonstrations Saturday noon protesting at hartals during HSC examinations in the country and
demanding reschedule of examination routine.
They asked the authorities to defer their physics examinations of April 11 to April 19 so that they could take preparations.
Under the banner of ‘HSC Examinees of Barisal’, they formed a human chain in front of Ashwini Kumar Hall and later brought out a protest procession in the city.
They strongly protested at frequent hartals being enforced by different political parties and organisations during the ongoing HSC examinations, hampering their educational careers.
