Bidya Sinha Mim tells New Age
Model turned actor Bidya Sinha Mim has performed in diverse characters in around 20 teleplays and serials aired in the past six days in this Eid festival.
The popular actor says that she does not confine herself in typical roles and want to test her acting ability in different roles.
‘I love to act in diverse roles so the viewers watched me in typical romantic roles as well as in action roles. One of my most remarkable plays on this Eid is Tramp Card-2, in which I acted in a daredevil role,’ informed Mim in an interview with New Age.
‘The play is different from other plays usually aired on TV channels. I played the role of a dangerous woman who is being chased by an underworld mafia don, This action drama got a huge response from the audience,’ Mim told New Age.
Written by Mahadi Hasan and directed by Mizanur Rahman Aryan, Tramp Card-2 is the squeal of Tramp Card which was telecasted on RTV on Eid-Ul-Fitr.
The play, which also features young actor Rabi and band musician Tuhin, was aired on RTV at 8:20pm on Monday.
Mim further said that she also got plaudit acting in other Eid special plays directed by young directors like Animesh Aich, Redowan Rony, Mahmud Didar, and others.
‘I don’t take it as a credit to claim that I’ve performed in 30/40 teleplays in Eid but I like to claim that I’ve acted in some good plays which will delight the viewers during the Eid,’ she added.
Bidya Sinha Mim stepped into the small screen industry after winning the Lux Channel-i Superstar in 2007 and has achieved huge popularity acting in television commercials and teleplays.
