Popular actor Anisur Rahman Milan says that viewers will see him in every local channel all most every day during Eid. In fact, Milan passed a busy schedule during the past few months as he acted in many Eid teleplays and series plays along with his routine works.
‘I’ve acted in about 20 Eid teleplays directed by talented directors including SA Haque Alik, Ashfakur Chanchal, Chayanika Chowdhury and others. All of these quality productions will entertain the viewers of all ages,’ added Milan.
Despite performing in so many characters in different Eid plays in a short period of time, Milan claims that he gave equal effort and concentration required for good acting. ‘I have tried to give my best performances. I study a lot about the character I am going to perform,’ said Milan adding that he selects those plays where he gets the scope for demonstrating his skill.
Milan, however, believes that viewers will like his performance in those plays which feature good stories. ‘Skills of performers are not enough for quality productions. A powerful storyline is the basic requirement and then comes the question of the quality of the director. The quality of actors is the next concern,’ said Milan, who emerged on small screen through a drama serial titled Ranger Manush.
Milan, who began his acting career at an early age in theatre, has recently emerged as a film actor through Iftakar Chowdhury’s film Dehorokkhi.
The recently released film got good response from the audience, Milan said.
He further said that he had signed contract in another film. ‘I have signed Ananya Mamun’s next project Romance. Shooting of the film began in last month,’ Milan said.
Sharing his experience in acting in TV productions and films, Milan said, ‘I give equal importance to both of the mediums despite the fact that film industry requires huge arrangements compared to small screen productions.’
