Speakers at a programme on Saturday said eminent poet and columnist of Chittagong freedom fighter Idris Alam was a brave and honest personality in the real sense of the term.
They said this while speaking at a ceremony marking the unveiling of the cover of a book of memoirs on the country’s war of liberation ‘Amra Takhon Juddhey’ (We were then in war), a compilation of selected columns of Idris Alam edited by eminent journalist Nasir Uddin Chowdhury, also one of the organisers of the liberation war.
