The four-day Fifth International Children’s Film Festival started at Bangladesh Development Society auditorium in Barisal city on Saturday. In association with UNICEF, Children’s Film Society Bangladesh is organising the festival titled ‘Future in Frames’ without any entrance fee. Prof Md Hanif, former principal Govt BM College, inaugurated the festival.
Speaking the inaugural function, Tanjilur Rahman Rafi, Barisal unit president of Children’s Film Society said more than 25 short, full-length feature and animated films produced by children’s of Bangladesh, UK, USA, Australia,, Austria, Belgium, Zambia, Italy, Iceland, Germany, India, Holland, France, Japan, Peru, Argentina, Malayasia and Iran would be screened during the festival.
