Bangla Business Partner (BBP), Japan in association with Daffodil Institute of Information Technology (DIIT) has organised the ‘IT Talent Contest-2014’ in a bid to create employment opportunity in Japan for the country’s young IT students. Toru Okazaki, managing director of Bangla Business Partner (BBP), Japan informed the journalists about this through a press conference at National Press Club on Wednesday. Mohammad Nuruzzaman, executive director, and Rathindra Nath Das, director of Daffodil Institute of Information Technology (DIIT), were also present, says a press release. In the first phase, a total of 20 contestant students will get employment opportunity in Japan. Gradually, IT professionals will get the employment opportunity in different Japanese companies existing in Japan, USA, Canada and other countries of the world by rotation. Selected talents will be trained up in Japanese language and capable to work in IT sector through exclusive professional training at free of cost. Final year students of computer science and engineering (CSE) departments of different institutions of the country and passing out graduates or IT professionals will get the opportunity to participate in this contest. The contest will be held in four phases. In first phase, preliminary selection will be completed through online MCQ and IQ test. In the second phase, a problem solving contest will be held in presence of local it experts. In third phase contestants will be selected through local interview and finally Japanese employers will finalize the candidates through interview for final selection for final recruitment.
