National poet Kazi Nazrul Islam’s memories from his time as a student will be featured in the upcoming edition of Ityadi, a popular television magazine program from the 1990s.
The episode was filmed in front of the National Poet’s classroom at Darirampur School in Trishal, Mymensingh, as a tribute. The filming of the episode took place on July 17.

The local Trishal villagers claim that this is the first occasion on which a crowd has come to watch the filming of any program. People continued cheering while watching the show’s production because they were so enthused.
One of Nazrul’s well-known songs was performed by two of the most renowned vocalists of our time, Bappa Mazumder and Priyanka Gope. Nazrul singers also shared the stage and participated in the show. Both poetry recitals and dance performances were presented.
Ityadi has consistently strived to enlighten its audience by giving more information about Bangladesh. It has traveled to remote areas in search of picturesque locales or in quest of the traditional and historical elements of our nation.
Like the old Ityadi episodes, the most recent one also featured a lot of inspiring, instructive, and educational tales.
It will be broadcast concurrently on BTV and BTV world on Friday, July 29 after the Bengali news of 8:00pm. Hanif Sanket has scripted, directed and hosted the show.
