Jahangirnagar University based cultural organisation Jalshiri has organised a four-day cultural festival marking its 11th founding anniversary
on the campus on Sunday.
The cultural festival was inaugurated by the JU vice-chancellor Professor Anwar Hossain as the chief guest followed by a colorful
procession on the campus.The inaugural ceremony was followed by staging of drama Bhashan on Monday by Jalshiri at Selim Al Deen Muktamoncha. A moderate number of audiences enjoyed the drama at the amphitheatre.
A musical show by Jolshiri and a recitation show by Dhoni, a recitation organisation of JU, were held in the university’s cafeteria on Tuesday as part of the four-day cultural festival.
Another university based troupe Jahangirnagar Theater staged the plays Bou and Joiboti Konnar on Wednesday.
