The results of Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations will be announced Wednesday. A total of 1861,113 students including 323,691 from Madrasah had registered to take the exams but nearly 55,000 skipped it.
Education ministry and board officials said that the results are going to be published within 37 days after the examinations ended. The JSC and JDC examinations started on November 1 and ended on November 21.
The government in 2010 introduced the exams for the students of class VIII aiming to improve the quality of education.
The results will be published from respective institutions at 4:30 pm and before that the education minister will formally announce the results at a press conference at the secretariat. Before the announcement of the results the education minister will handover the results to the Prime Minister in the morning. The results will also be available on the websites of the boards (www.educationboardresults.gov.bd).
The results can be collected through Short Message Services (SMS) of mobile phones.
