The Jahangirnagar University Debate Organisation observed its 8th founding anniversary and formed a new executive body on the campus on Wednesday.
The former JUDO president, Nur-E-Alam, declared the new executive body at a programme marking the anniversary day of the organisation.Debangshu Ghosh Shuvo and Reazul Islam Dipu were selected as the new president and general secretary of the organisation respectively.
Other executive panel members are— vice-presidents Mahfuzur Rahman Sumon and Shuvo Mojumder, joint secretaries Sabbir Ahmed, Israt Sarmin Sharma and Prosenjit Chandra Roy, organising secretary Tasin Nasir, treasurer Mahmudul Hasan and office secretary Asrafuzzaman Majumder.
The JUDO also organised a fun debate at the Muktamancha on the campus which was moderated by Professor ATM Atikur Rahman.
