Elections to the 15-member executive committee of Jahangirnagar University Teachers Association (JUTA) will be held on January 29. Chief Election Commissioner Prof Md Akter Mahmud announced the polls schedule on Sunday. The teachers will elect president, vice-president, general secretary, joint secretary along with eleven members of the executive committee. The voting will start at JU Teachers’ Club from 9am to 1pm without any interval. The final voter list will be published on January 22. The nomination papers will be submitted by January 22 from 10am to 12pm. Final list of the candidates would be published on the same day after scrutiny.
