Giasuddin Selim will release “Kajol Rekha,” a movie based on the life of Mymensingh Gitika’s Kajol Rekha pala, in February of next year, following the commercial successes of “Monpura” and “Swapnojal.”
Tuesday marked the end of filming for the movie. Giasuddin Selim, who confirmed the information, added, “I just wrapped up filming for the picture. The film will be released the following year if the post-production work is completed as soon as possible’.
The first location where “Kajol Rekha” was filmed was Susang Durgapur in Netrokona.
Later, the movie was filmed in several places all surrounding Sundarban.
It will be Mondira Chakroborty’s debut on the big screen as she portrays “Kajol Rekha” in the movie.
In addition to Chakroborty, important roles in the movie were also cast for Sariful Razz, Rafiath Rashid Mithila, and Iresh Zaker.
