Bangladesh Krishi Bank managing director Abdus Salam on Wednesday was appointed managing director of Janata Bank Limited. Obayed Ullah Al Masud, deputy managing director of Agrani Bank Limited, was on the same day appointed managing director of Karmasangsthan Bank. Bank and Financial Institution Division issued notification in this connection in the afternoon on Wednesday.
Before being appointed as MD of Krishi Bank Limited in 2012, Abdus Salam had served as deputy managing director of Janata Bank.
The post of MD of Karmasangsthan Bank fell vacant after the government sent Khondoker Md Iqbal to the troubled BASIC Bank as its MD.
