The alumni association of Korea International Coopera-tion Agency Bangladesh has announced its new executive committee with selecting planning secretary Monjur Hossain as the president and deputy secretary Ataul Hoque as the general secretary.
The committee was announced at ‘KOICA Bangladesh alumni night’ at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre Tuesday night, according to a KOICA news release.
The other members of the committee are former KOICA president Ehsan Shamim, former general secretary SK Shahariar Zaman, Jiban Ronjan Mojumder, Bojlur Rashid, ON Siddiqua, Nahid Monjura Afroz and Joy Mowla.
About 1,100 persons who participated in any of the short or long courses in South Korea arranged by KOICA are the members of the association, the source said.
South Korean ambassador Cho Taiyoung, KOICA resident representative Lee Jung Wook and Bangladesh Public Service Commission member Ehsan Shamim addressed the programme.
