Popular TV actress Lara Lotus has recently performed in twosingle plays titled ‘Uchit Kotha’ and ‘Awaz’, which were directed by renownedplay director and actor Mamunur Rashid. The plays will be aired respectively on BTV and RTV on the occasion of upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.
In ‘Uchit Kotha’, Lara will be appeared as an educated andintroverted girl of a remote village. Though she got married, she lost herhubby later. A bad guy of the same village paid his evil eyes on her. But Larabecomes daring enough and takes stand against that man and reveals many unknownstory of that guy before the villagers.
In play ‘Awaz’, Lara will play the role of Munni who is alocal girl of old Dhaka and keeps relation with three boys at a time. Munni’sfather always tells lie. Thus the story carries on.
While expressing her feelings about her performance underthe direction of Mamunur Rashid, Lara said, “I am very fortunate that I havegot chance to work with such a great director. I feel very comfortable to workwith the unit led by Mamun as all of them are really cooperative.”
About Lara’s performance, Mamun said, “Lara is definitely atalented artiste and she can adapt herself with any character very easily.”
In against of Lara’s character, Saju Khadem and Meer Sabbirhave performed in ‘Aawaz’ while Aa Kha Ma Hasan has performed in ‘Uchit Kotha’.
