National cricketers will get their last chance to play in the ongoing edition of National Cricket League, country’s traditional first-class tournament, as the fifth and penultimate round begins today.
Khulna will take on Dhaka Metropolis at Fatullah in one of the two top-tier matches while Rangpur will face Dhaka at Bogra in the other match. In the second tier matches, Rajshahi will host Barisal while Sylhet will visit Chittagong.
Khulna lead the points table with 39 points in top tier while Barisal lead in the second tier with 37 points.
Bangladesh national team camp for the home series against Zimbabwe will start from October 29, meaning this would be last round for the Tigers in the National Cricket League.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board on October 21 announced the itinerary for Zimbabwe’s Tour to Bangladesh in November.
The visitors will arrive on November 2 and will play three one-day internationals on November 7, 9 and 11 respectively.
Zimbabwe will also play two Twenty20 internationals on November 13 and 15.
