Popular rocker Maqsood will emerge as an actor in Shahidul Haque Khan’s telefilm Amar Piraner Kono Maap Nai.
Maqsood will play the role of a baul in the telefilm featuring the life and struggle of the traditional baul singers across the country.
‘It’s a good experience for me. I’ve been working with the bauls for many years. It was, therefore, not much difficult for me to enact the character of a baul’, Maqsood told New Age.
Written and directed by Shahidul Haque Khan, the shooting for the telefilm is going on in Munshiganj. Sohel Rana, Mouli Azad and many others.
Maqsood hopes to appear on screen as an actor in future if he gets offer of films or teleplays with good storyline.
Maqsoodul Haq got huge popularity as the vocal of the famous band Feedback. He left the band in 1990s and formed his own band named Maqsood O Dhaka. He has some collaboration works with the traditional bauls of the country.
