Michael Douglas, who recently completed a course of chemotherapy and radiotherapy for his throat cancer, is responding well to the treatment.
The ‘Wall Street’ star who has two children with wife Catherine Zeta Jones, as well as 31-year-old Cameron from his previous marriage, has dismissed reports that he is preparing for the worst possible outcome, People magazine reported.
His publicist and long-time friend Allen Burry said, “Michael is totally focused on his recovery. It’s been very difficult but his doctors are very pleased with how he responded to treatment. They think he’s doing really well.
He’s doing as well as can be expected. Michael hasn’t changed his will recently, and he isn’t contemplating changing it.”
However, acting will take a backseat for the 66-year-old actor in the near future as he wants to conserve his energy and resources to spend as much time he could with his family.
