AL moves ahead with Hasina-led all-party govt plan
Ministers have started preparations to submit their resignation letters to the Prime Minister, as the government has taken a firm stance to hold the next election under an all-party government proposed by the Prime Minister. Talking to The Independent, four ministers have confirmed that they would submit their resignation letters to the Prime Minister, on Sunday, to pave the way for forming the poll-time government.
The ministers, however, said that resignation letters of all the cabinet members would not be accepted, as the Prime Minister will accommodate some of them in the poll-time government.
The resignation letters, which will be accepted, will become effective after November 20, they said.
“After getting the letters, the PM will take the move to form the all-party government.
