After a five-year break from the showbiz, iconic theatre personality Momtazuddin Ahmed is back again for Joy Joyokar, a single-episode TV play which will be aired soon.
Directed by Ismat Ara Chowdhury, the play will feature Momtazu-ddin in the role of a retired professor. Apart from him, Wahida Mollick Jolly, Nisha, and Tanbhir Tanu, among others, will also be seen in the play.
“I got the offer for working on Joy Joyokar from Ismat, one of my favourite students. It is a delight to act again after a long break. But, I wonder, I could not give my hundred percent to the role though the play has been scripted by me,” said Momtazuddin Ahmed.
The veteran playwright-actor, Momtaz-uddin Ahmed, who works as the cultural minister of Bangladesh mission in the United Nations, is now in Dhaka for a vacation.
