BNP standing committee member Moudud Ahmed was admitted to hospital on Sunday afternoon after he had complained severe chest pain.
Moudud’s personal assistant Shahidul Islam said that he had been admitted to United Hospital in the capital. Hospital officials about 4:30pm said the Moudud was in the coronary care unit. ‘He is asleep after an ECG was run on him,’ CCU unit officer said.
He was under the treatment of cardiologist Momin uz Zaman.
