Holders Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited are in command of the Rupahali Sarees Premier Division Chess League with eight points after the fourth round of games. Mohammedan beat Leonine Chess Club 3½ to ½ in the fourth round. Mohammedan’s GM Niaz Murshed, Russian GM Volkov Sergey and IM Minhazuddin Ahmed Sagar beat Leonine’s Monir Hossain, FM Mohammad Javed and Sohel Chowdhury respectively. The only draw came between MSC’s Tajikistani GM Amonatov Farukh and Leonine’s FM Mehdi Hasan Parag. Bangladesh Navy Chess Team remains in second position with 6 points in the competition.
