The muharat of noted film director Animesh Aich’s next film Zed was held on Thursday at a hotel in the capital.
Aich has also written the story and screenplay of the film, which is a production of Impress Telefilms.
It was informed at the programme that Tarik Anam Khan, Faruk Ahmed, Bhabna, Alan Shuvro and others will be cast in the film. Besides, Aich also informed that he is trying to sign noted film stars of Tollywood including Soumitra Mukhopadhyay and Parambrata Chatterjee for the film. The story of the film revolves around a young woman named Nayantaara who loses her sanity after she gets sexually harassed by some miscreants when she was on her way to collect water for her household. As consequences of her insanity, Nayantaara spends her time collecting water in whatever containers she finds.
The story of the film reaches its climax when scarcity of water hits the locality, and the residents rush to Nayantaara in search of water.
Faridur Reza Sagor, managing director of Impress Telefilms; noted film producer Jahangir Khan, eminent film directors Shohanur Rahman Shohan, Shahidul Islam Khokhon, and also the casts of the film were present at the muharat.
It was also informed at the programme that the shooting of the film will begin in October this year.
