The autobiography of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman contains a number of basic concepts about the country and also its history, said education minister Nurul Islam Nahid on Saturday,
terming it as ‘an asset to the future generation’.
He made the comment while unveiling a book titled ‘Bangabandhu’s Asamapta Atmajibani Punarpath’ written by the National University vice-chancellor Harun-or-Rashid. The function was held at Dhaka University’s social sciences faculty building.
The minister said, ‘The autobiography of father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman is an asset for the future generation of the country as it contains the real pictures of Bangabandhu and the country.’
Professor Emeritus Anisuzzaman presided over the ceremony that was addressed, among others, by National Professor AF Salahuddin Ahmed, Professor Muntasir Mamun and Jagannath University VC Mijanur Rahman.
