The Walton National Invitational Handball tournament, organised by the Bangladesh Handball Federation, will begin on July 6, informed Asaduzzaman Kohinoor,
general secretary of the federation, at a press conference on Thursday.
The budget for the event was estimated at Tk 4 lakh and Walton will provide
Tk 3 lakh as the title sponsor.
A total of 10 teams divided into three groups will participate in the tournament. The teams are Border Guard Bangladesh, Bangladesh Police,
Chittagong Metro, Chapainawabganj, Jessore, Kushtia, Mymensingh, Madaripur, Sunamganj and Chuadanga.
