The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation has agreed to send its hockey team to play in a practice series with the Bangladesh national team in Dhaka, the BHF said on Friday.
The BHF had invited three Indian clubs – Air India, Punjab National Bank and ONGC – to play four practice matches against the Bangladesh national hockey team as part of its preparation from the Asia Cup.
‘ONGC has agreed to send their team after receiving our invitation. Now we will give them the tentative dates for the tour. We hope that ONGC will come before Eid Ul Fitr,’ said BHF member Mamunur Rashid.
The BHF will provide accommodation and meals for the ONGC team, according to Rashid.
