National Bank Limited (NBL) distributed scholarship, certificate of appreciation and crest among the children’s of the employees of the bank under ‘NBL Employees Welfare Scheme’ at a function at National Bank Training Institute (NBTI) in the city on Friday. otal 66 students who secured outstanding result in the SSC and HSC examinations held in 2013 have been awarded with scholarship. AKM Shafiqur Rahman, Additional Managing Director of NBL attended the function as chief guest. Shamsul Huda Khan and Abdul Hamid Mia, Deputy Managing Directors, Syed Mohammad Bariqullah, Sr. Executive Vice President of the bank spoke on the function. Among others, the meeting was attended Mohammad Salim, EVP and head of system and operations division, Md Abdul Wahab, VP and head of GBD, senior executives, officers and staffs of the bank and parents. It may be mentioned that National Bank Employees’ Welfare Scheme was formed in 1997.
