Notre Dame College started issuing admission forms for
grade eleven on Monday following a High Court ruling.
Hemanta Piyush Rozario, principal of the college, said forms
were being issued from 3:00pm to 6:00pm on Monday.The forms could be availed from 9:00am to 5:00pm on Tuesday and from 3:00pm to 6:00pm on Wednesday.
Price of the each admission form is Tk 120.
Those seeking admission into Notre Dame College must have GPA-5 for science, GPA-4 for business studies and GPA-3.25 for humanities in Secondary School Certificate examinations.
Despite directives from Ministry of Education for enrollment into colleges on the basis of GPA, the High Court allowed Notre Dame College to conduct entry tests as part of its admission procedures.
High Court has put a six months stay on the ministry guidelines on Notre Dame College.
The principal said the list of primarily qualified candidates would be put up on June 7. A half-an-hour written entry test will be held on June 8, 9.
