Oishee to face court today
Detective police will produce Oishee Rahman, the prime suspect of killing her parents, before a Dhaka court today after a five-day remand.
On August 18, a Dhaka court granted remand for Oishee, her friend Mizanur Rahman Rony, and domestic help Khadiza Khatun Sumi in connection with the killing of Special Branch of Police inspector Mahfuzur Rahman and his wife Swapna Rahman.
Masudur Rahman, deputy commissioner (media) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, said they were yet to decide whether they seek fresh remand for them.
On August 16, the bodies of the couple were found in their Chamelibagh residence in the capital.
Later, Oishee turned herself into Paltan police. Mizanur and Khadiza were arrested the same day.
