The celebrity couple filmmaker Mostofa Sarwar Farooki and actor Nusrat Imroz Tisha claim they are complementary to each other. They have always been helpful to each other in their three years of conjugal life followed by a five-year low-key romance.
On the eve of Pahela Phalgun, the couple shared their personal life stories regarding Pahela Phalgun and Valentine’s Day celebrations and more.
The duo prefers Pahela Phalgun to Valentine’s Day. ‘I prefer Pahela Phalgun more because it is so much more colorful and festive. It is very inclusive and everybody is joining in the celebrations whereas Valentine’s Day is limited to a certain age group, a certain class of people and usually celebrated just between two people,’ Tisha told New Age.
And Farooki completely agrees with his partner.
They further said the nature of celebrations of Pahela Phalgun festivity remains the same for the couple as it was before the marriage. Depending on the weather, they plan to go out together to celebrate the day.
Though their marriage life has passed only three years, in the spirit of a very popular romantic song [Mora Aar Janomey], they said their conjugal life continues for ages.
They further claim their involvement in media does not impact their married life. ‘We do not manage time, time manages us!,’ said Tisha confidently. Farooki adds, saying, ‘Absolutely’.
Tisha further says she is glad that she is married to Farooki. ‘The little insignificant problems that arise
due to being married in my career line are nothing, simply nothing, compared to the joy of being married,’ she said.
Farooki, on the other hand, said, ‘I think I should have married long before. I was always a free spirited bird. Now I am a free spirited bird who always has a home to come back to. It is a great balance of the elements of air and earth.’
In response to a question about the difference in the happiness of the conjugal life of two celebrities and that of a couplet of a celebrity and non-celebrity, Farooki said, ‘Please allow me some time and let me marry a non-celebrity woman. Then I can truly tell you the difference!’
‘I agree,’ said Tisha laughing loudly.
They further said they share responsibilities while working together. ‘We share life so we share everything in it,’ Tisha said in a romantic gesture. Supplementing her, Farooki said, ‘At the same time we have drawn a line where we don’t interfere.’
Tisha further said she feels safe and relaxed while working with Farooki when the latter said, ‘I feel very relaxed because our communication is great and it is wonderful working with her.’
They further said they never felt any disadvantage working together. ‘Absolutely not and don’t think I’m saying this because I’m afraid of her,’ said Farooki laughing aloud.
