Cultural organisation Padatik Natya Sangsad on Friday observed its 33rd founding anniversary.
Marking the occasion, a colourful procession was brought out at the Teacher Student Centre in Dhaka University.
Media personality M Hamid inaugurated the procession by freeing pigeons at 11:30am.
The procession was participated by Hasan Arif, president, Golam Kuddus, vice-president, of Sammilita Sanskritik Jot, along with dozens of cultural activists of the country bearing colourful banners, festoons, placards and wearing traditional costumes like dhuti, panjabi and sari.
The procession paraded the Curzon hall premises and Central Shahid Minar and ended at the Teacher Students Centre.
Padatik Natya Sagsad started its activities with a motto — Let drama be the weapon for the struggle of life, let drama be the expression of life.
