Pakistan beat Bangladesh by 58 runs in the final one-dayer at Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in the port city of Chittagong on Tuesday and clinch the Cool & Cool ODI series 3-0.
Batting second, Bangladesh were all out for 119 runs in 38 overs chasing 177 set by the visitors.
Mohammad Hafeez and Shoaib Malik were the peak of the bowlers by taking three wickets each. Saeed Ajmal and Abdur Rehman shared two wickets each.
Vice-captain Mahmudullah was the highest scorer of Bangladesh innings (35). Opener Shahriar Nafees scored 25 and all-rounder Farhad Reza contributed 21, which only lengthened celebrating victory moments for the Pakistanis.
Play has interrupted for about 15 minutes due to an unexpected power failure in the stadium at around 6:10pm. The match resumed at around 6:36pm.
Earlier, Pakistan were all out for 177 runs at 46.1 overs.
Abdur Razzak and Mahmudullah were the peak of the bowlers sharing three wickets each while Elias Sunny picked up two wickets. Shakib Al Hasan and Shafiul Islam bagged one each.
Umar Akmal (57) was the highest scorer among the Pakistanis. Skipper Misbah-ul-Haq (47) gave Akmal solid support in building the innings.
