Pamela Anderson made headlines by returning to her classic Baywatch attire 30 years later, at the age of 55. This was thanks to Frankie’s Bikinis, which hired her for a beach photo shoot in Malibu to promote their products.
Pamela made the red swimsuit trend explode in 1990, thanks to CJ Parker, her character on Baywatch. Now, she’s brought back the look after releasing her memoir ‘Love, Pamela’ and her Netflix documentary ‘Pamela: A Love Story’ earlier this year.
Pamela Anderson shared the picture on Instagram
As she wore the classic red swimsuit she captioned the post “It’s about time – I have been so excited to share this with you, I’m horrible at keeping a secret Time went so slowly…But today after a long year, I can tell you all my favorite ideas and tricks of the trade all mixed into my swimwear collaboration with @frankiesbikinis.”
Pamela Anderson kept the swimsuit
Last February she said that she still keeps one of those red garments that she wore throughout the five seasons that the series lasted. She even acknowledged that she likes to wear it from time to time. “I had a pair back then. Now I only have one and it fits. I wear it from time to time,” she told ‘Entertainment Tonight’.
From then on, somewhat more distanced herself from acting, she has dedicated herself to starring in and organizing animal rights campaigns. However, she did return to the ‘Baywatch’ role in 2017 for a cameo in the movie’s spin-off with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.
