Homegrown super app Pathao has launched a new ride option, Pathao CNG, marking its 10th anniversary and expanding its transport portfolio beyond bikes and cars.
The new feature aims to offer commuters an affordable, reliable, and safe way to travel across the city, with fares positioned between Pathao Bike and Pathao Car services.
To celebrate the launch, Pathao Pay is offering users a cashback of up to Tk 300 on their first three CNG rides when paid through Pathao Pay—up to Tk 100 per ride. The offer runs from 29 October to 27 November 2025.
Booking a CNG ride follows the same process as other Pathao rides: users can select the “CNG” option in the app, enter their destination, and either accept or bid for a fare based on preference.
Pathao said all CNG rides include standard Pathao Safety features, including a one-tap SOS button, live location sharing, and insurance coverage of up to Tk 1 lakh for both riders and passengers.
