A massive crowd lined up at the atrium of Star Cineplex at Bashundhara City to catch a glimpse of the coveted prize as Pepsi helped to add to the World Cup excitement in Bangladesh.
It is an effort from Pepsi so that thousands of cricket lovers could fulfil their dreams by getting a closer look at the trophy and take pictures with it, said a press release yesterday.
Pepsi, being the official global partner of the ICC World Cup 2011 has brought exciting new campaigns for its consumers. This trophy activation was brought by Pepsi to the cricket fans of the nation as part of the hugely popular campaign “Pepsi Change the Game”.
Khurshid Irfan Chow-dhury, executive director, Arif Hossain, market development manager of Transcom Beverages Limited and Prateek Sabharwal, country manager of PepsiCo Bangladesh were present on the occasion.
