Bangladesh Hockey Federation president Air Marshal Enamul Bari will meet with the national team players on June 8 to discuss about the current state of the game of hockey.
The BHF, however, decided to reschedule the beginning date of the camp to June 10 instead of June 7 due to the unavailability of accommodation in the Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Prothisthan, where the conditioning camp will start.
After an unofficial meeting between the players at the Maulana Bhashani Hockey Stadium on Tuesday evening, Rasel Khan
Bappy, president of the Players’ Welfare Association, explained their stance.
‘We were informed that the president will be able to solve all the difficulties so we would like to talk with him. We have already asked for an appointment and he agreed to meet with us on June 8,’ said Bappy.
‘We want to explain the actual matter to him and we are hopeful that after the meeting with the president, all the difficulties will be resolved,’ he added.
